New Painting Just Completed.....

I've finally finished this large landscape I've been working on the past week or so. It's called "Clouds Over Alberta Rockies" and is 39" wide x 31" high......

So much to do!! Where to begin!!! I've just finished this 16" x 12" painting, "The Ice Cream Truck" and I have a large canvas that I really want to dig into and start. I've got to take a time management course I think!!

A Busy Painting Week! I've been working on my figurative studies and just completed this 12 x 16 oil....."The Differences are Few"...my goal is to have enough QUALITY work to send out to apply for membership in the Ontario Artist's Society in September.

I am also excited to say I am finally working on a large figurative piece-about 3 x 4 ft in the style I've been working on for a time now. I haven't done one this indepth and at this size for quite some time so will be interested to see how it turns out!

My latest painting just completed....."Early Spring"

(The bush I bring our dog to is covered in dead branches and fallen trees-creating a fascinating landscape in which to create this piece.

After taking numerous photos of the trees I settled upon this backdrop in which to put my bear, newly awoken from his winter slumber, surveying the world around him.....)
